40-year-old former Dynamo forward Kleber nicknamed “Gladiator” got into another scandal the day before.
An ex-football player attacked gas station employees on the outskirts of Sao Paulo. Witnesses say Kleber was “visibly upset” and arrived “looking for trouble,” pushing people outside the convenience store.
First, Kleber pushed one of the employees on the street, and when he went inside the establishment, he hit another employee in the face. Both victims had already gone to the police station and filed a statement against the ex-Dynamo forward, but “Gladiator” himself managed to escape from the scene before law enforcement officers arrived there.
However, the victims wrote down the license plate number of the car in which Kleber was driving. It turned out that the former football player was using a rented car.
The video that captured the moment of the attack is already in the possession of the police, who are now trying to find Kleber to take a statement from him.
The attack took place at a gas station in an upscale area of Sao Paulo. According to available information, Kleber is a regular at this place, since he lives less than a block away, a fact that frightens gas station employees who fear a repeat of the incident or new reprisals from the ex-football player.
In June of this year, Kleber’s name already appeared in the press in connection with a scandal about the ex-Dynamo forward’s failure to pay child support for one of his daughters. At that time, Gladiator had not fulfilled its obligations for more than a year, and the amount of debt exceeded 116 thousand Brazilian reals (almost 22 thousand euros).
Let us remind you that Kleber, who played for Dynamo from 2004 to 2009 (105 matches, 36 goals, 6 assists), ended his football career at the end of 2020 in the American club Austin Bould.
