Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Taufik Kurniawan he reportedly passed away, Thursday (11/24). The sad news was confirmed by DPP PAN Viva Yoga Vice President Mauladi.
According to him, Taufik breathed his last at Elisabeth Hospital in Semarang, Central Java at around 4.30pm WIB.
“The extended PAN family feels lost and saddened by the passing of our brother: Dr. Ir. H. Taufik Kurniawan, MM,” Viva said in a written statement.
Taufik is a former member of the PAN faction of the RI DPR. He was also Secretary General of the DPP PAN for the period 2010-2015.
“The deceased was a close friend of mine, a kind, friendly and communicative person,” she said.
