Leaking information doesn’t help matters. Any discussions on the subject are premature. This is what former diplomat Stefan Tafrov said in “Your Day”.
According to him, it is too early for fanfare, but there should be optimism regarding Schengen.
“Bulgaria protects the EU’s external borders well and has every right to join. Austria’s requests are aimed at strengthening the EC’s support to Bulgaria along the border with Turkey. So they match ours,” he explained.
