Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives discusses Saudi Arabia’s role in Lebanon’s politics

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Elie Ferzli, said, “What matters to Saudi Arabia is that Lebanon not be a corridor and a headquarters for undermining it,” pointing out that the words of the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, in this regard will facilitate Saudi Arabia’s work to revive Lebanon, and thus accept Franjieh’s name.

In an interview with “MTV”, Al-Farzli stressed that “the three or four weeks will be decisive, because there is no justification for prolonging it further.

Al-Farzli continued, “The guarantee that Franjieh’s pledges regarding the defense strategy and others will be fulfilled lies in Hezbollah’s confidence in him and the appreciation of his sacrifices with him, especially in his repeated abandonment of the presidency.” on defensive strategy.

He added, “I do not think that the “forces” and the “current” are ready to bear the responsibility for the obstruction, because it will not only affect their parties, but also the Christian and Maronite role in the political system.
