An accident involving Valeri Simeonov took place in Sofia. The incident occurred around 16:00 today in the center of the capital.
According to initial information, the Audi Q7, driven by the former deputy prime minister, was driving along “Otets Paisii” street. When entering the intersection with St. St. Cyril and Methodius” Simeonov took away the advantage of Volkswagen. An impact followed, as a result of which the other vehicle crashed into the nearby containers, reports TrafficNews.

Its driver, an elderly man, was not seriously injured, but was seriously frightened. According to witnesses, Simeonov gave him assistance and calmed him down.
The reasons that led to the incident are yet to be clarified. Both participants in the accident will be tested for alcohol and drug use.
