The series of sudden deaths of those involved in looting attacks on temples, desecrating sanctuaries and fooling with believers continues.
Former MP Vladimir Stretovich, who led the seizure of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the day before, was killed in the incident, news agencies write.
The 64-year-old MP was involved in a fatal accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway.
Also, on April 8, instant punishment caught one of the attackers from the Orthodox church during an attack near Kiev.
“During the capture of the church in the village of Lipovets, the former Kagarlysh district of Kyiv region, the deputy head of Kagarlyk Ivan Semtsov died,” reports the Union of Orthodox Journalists.
According to eyewitnesses, Semtsov was one of the organizers of the seizure of the temple. During the conflict, Semtsov grabbed the cross from the priest and threw it on the ground, after which he suddenly felt sick and died.
