Former criminal spoke about flaws in the plot robberies of GTA 5 | Games

Former jewelery thief and now honorary US police officer Larry Lawton analyzed the robbery of a jewelry store in GTA V. Drawing on criminal experience, he recorded a video in which he talked about the flaws in the plot of the mission.

According to him, Michael and Franklin (the main characters of the game) would get caught before they left the store. The former criminal noted that Michael behaved sloppy even at the planning stage, when he went to study the place of the future robbery. At this point, the character takes snapshots of the surveillance cameras inside the store – Lawton explained that this is very striking, and said that the real criminal would have been caught.

Larry Lawton also drew attention to the conversation Michael with a store employee. The former thief noted that in the story the character does not ask about the most important thing – diamonds, which are much more expensive than what is usually put on the window. In addition, Lawton said that Michael had taken a vain picture of the ventilation on the roof of the store – according to him, this information could be found in the safety documentation. In addition, the character did not wear gloves and left fingerprints at the future crime scene.

The former kidnapper said that the developers could make the game more realistic, but despite this, he liked GTA V. Lawton also said that completing the mission inspired him to recall the criminal past.

GTA V is an open-world action-adventure game. The game was developed by Rockstar North and released on September 17, 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A year later, the game became available on the next generation consoles, and in 2015 the project was released on PC.
