Former spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force, Achmad Yurianto, who is now on the supervisory board of BPJS Health, is being treated at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. The CEO of BPJS revealed the current conditions.
“Pak Yurianto, still being treated,” said BPJS Kesehatan Managing Director Prof. Ali Ghufron Mukti, met at Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta, Tuesday (26/4/2022).
“What is clear is what is the confirmation of the illness, I don’t think it should be because it’s a secret, it’s not good. And we are still praying and visiting,” he continued.
Previously, the spokesperson for the COVID-19 vaccination of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said the former Director General of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Ministry of Health had suffered from multiple strokes. He was treated after undergoing chemotherapy for bowel cancer.
“He was treated with multiple strokes,” said Dr. Nadia, Monday (4/24/2022).
Meanwhile, the President Director of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Lt. Gen. A. Budi Sulistya, said that Achmad Yurianto had undergone several treatments. When interviewed by detikcom, he estimated that he had been treated for 7-8 days.
“Doctor Achmad Yurianto is currently being treated at the RSPAD. So it’s been periodic treatment, meaning that we have treated it several times,” explained Budi at detikcom, Sunday (24/4).
