Oh my God! The famous former actress Danielle Fishel She went for regular check-ups and that’s when she found out she had cancer. The former child star said she was diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for ductal carcinoma in situ, a form of cancer breast cancer.

“It’s very, very, very early,” Fishel said on her podcast Pod Meets World. “Technically, we’re in stage 0,” she said.

The former star of the series “Boy Meets World” made clear the importance of getting tested when necessary and without fear because, she says, it is better to know about it immediately to avoid further risks. “The only reason I detected this cancer when it was still in stage 0 was because the day I received the text message saying that I should have my annual mammogram, I made the appointment,” she said, according to People magazine.

“They caught it so, so, so early that I’m going to be fine,” she continued. “So I want to share this because I hope it encourages anyone to go there. If it’s time for your appointment, if you’ve never had an appointment before, go there. If you have to find out you have cancer, find out when you’re at stage 0, if possible.”

The 43-year-old actress and producer, who has two children, wanted to share her story so that other women can take appropriate measures in this regard.

“The only reason I’m sharing it is because if you’ve ever had those thoughts in your life where someone close to you gets diagnosed with cancer, somewhere in the back of your mind you think, ‘What would I do if it was me? What would I do in this situation?’” she confessed. “For some reason I always thought I would suffer in silence. I wouldn’t tell anyone. I would tell just my small, small group and then I would accept it and when I was on the other side, I would tell people,” she said.
