Former Chairman of Culture and Media Committee Speaks Out on Friendship with Boyko Borisov

Today I don’t believe he is my friend. He has other friends. There is always someone to drool over the ears of a manager. Life is like that. Lubricants are used. This is what the former chairman of the Culture and Media Committee of the 49th National Assembly and former GERB-SDS MP Vezhdi Rashidov said about Boyko Borisov to BNT.

“I am Boyko’s friend. I am loyal to him. I have even let him know his mistakes, because friendship is a type of moral hygiene towards friendship. When you see that only you have been loyal, then this is not the case”he said.

The deputies accepted the resignation of Vezhdi Rashidov

When asked if Borisov called him after the scandal broke out and after the decision to expel Rashidov from the party, he said: “No, no. No more need. Men call, I would call him to say “Look, dude, it’s getting complicated…” I would suggest how to do it. May he be alive and wellhe also said.

When asked why he returned to politics after initially giving up, Rashidov replied: “I have always been a very loyal person. “If a Turk becomes your friend, don’t watch your back”. I’m from that brand, that’s how I was brought up.”

Vezhdi Rashidov resigned as an MP

“I’m hard to control. People come there basically scared. I recently heard that our president said something that I wouldn’t accept – Whoever has a different mindset, five other people are waiting in his place. That’s how politics is done, huh The question is what threshold is there for internal hygiene, for tolerance, because not at any cost”he also said.
