The anti-suicide protocol was thus activated. “For fear that he might cut himself or try to do something crazy. On the day of the trial he followed this protocol,” he added.
It is recalled that Dani Alves was accused of raping a young woman in a nightclub in Barcelona, at the end of 2022. The player has been in prison since January last year and the three requests for parole filed by the defense were all denied, as the judge understood that there is a risk of escape.
Last week the trial began. The Brazilian footballer has already testified and denied the violation.
