PSD deputy leader Simona-Maya Teodoroiu, who was a judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR), has died, the social-democratic senator Laura Moagher announced on Tuesday evening, according to Agerpres.

“With great sadness and pain, we say goodbye to a special colleague – Simona-Maya Teodoroiu, who was not only an example of professionalism, but also a warm, compassionate person who was very a life dedicated to those around her”, wrote Laura Moagher, in a message published on her Facebook page.

“Her death leaves a big void in our souls, but her memory will live on through everything she accomplished and through the kindness she showed. Simona-Maya Teodoroiu was elected deputy in 2020, after running on Prahova’s PSD lists.
