Cabinet Office officials want Liz Truss to pay for the missing items during her time here, as well as for the food and wine consumed by her and her aides. Officials also pointed out that the former prime minister’s residence was not used for government purposes but for political purposes. Following this, Lis Truss has requested an accurate invoice, their spokesperson informed.
Last August, Liz Truss stayed with her helpers at Grace and Favor Country Home. The gathering came after Foreign Secretary Liz Truss secured her victory over Rishi Sunak that day. Grace and Favor Country Home has 115 rooms in 3,500 acres near Sevenoaks, Kent. It has been used as one of the residences of the Foreign Secretary since 1981.
After coming to power in Britain, the mini-budget of the Liz Truss government, which cut taxes, had a negative impact on the financial market. Due to this, the government collapsed within 45 days and Rishi Sunak was elected as the new Prime Minister. He is currently a Member of Parliament from South West Norfolk, UK. Listrus, who has been working in the Conservative Party since 1996, was previously a member of the Liberal Democrats.
