Former Benin President Nicephore Soglo receives honorary doctorate from University of Atlanta in the United States

The former President of the Republic of Benin, Nicephore Soglo has, in a publication on its Facebook page, announced that the University ofAtlanta in the United States of America awarded him an honorary distinction. « Atlanta University in the United States of America has given me the great honor of awarding us an honorary doctorate for our tireless efforts to improve the lives of our people” he posted on his Facebook page.

The first president of the era of Democratic Renewal specified that this honorary distinction of this American institution of higher education is due to the “the crowning achievement of a long career as a servant, role model, leader and mentor to countless people in my country in particular and in Africa in general”. That’s why he prays “this legacy continues to inspire generations to come.” It should be noted that with this honorary distinction that the former mayor of the city of Cottonu received from this university of Atlanta in the United States of America, it is the Benign whole who is thus honored to see the efforts of his son over several years recognized once again on the international level. This should therefore push the younger generation to follow in the footsteps of the former Head of State of Benin.
