Manchester City and Inter Milan decide this Saturday the Champions League title, a duel of stars but also of strategies.
The favorites are the British but they don’t trust each other, much less with Pep Guardiola, a true obsessive of planning and detail.
Aware of how traumatic his mania can be, the Spaniard has called an old acquaintance to help him lower the decibels and not drive the squad crazy: Juan Manuel Lillo.
Al-Sadd’s coach from Qatar and future coach of Colombian Matheus Uribe, was already Guardiola’s assistant at City between 2020 and 2022 and, according to The Times newspaper, “helps him prepare for Inter Milan, as a calming presence for the technical maniac”.
City are going into the final in imperious form, but Guardiola is leaving nothing to chance.

Lillo, passing through Millonarios and Atlético Nacional, is highly recognized by the best coach today and dozens of players he has directed as the coach who knows the most and has taught them the most about soccer theory. Now, if City finally raises La Orejona with Guardiola, they will not be left out of the picture.
