“Saw” puts the German guard legend in a new crisis
Jens Lehmann, the former Arsenal and German national team goalkeeper, is not experiencing happy days, years after he decided to retire from the world of football.
In recent years, Lehmann has been involved in a number of problems with the German authorities, and has recently been required to respond to justice in various lawsuits, including those in which he was involved because of a “saw.”
The aforementioned event is one of the charges brought against him by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Munich, after he damaged an iron beam of a neighbor’s house with a saw. The reason, according to the accused, was that the aforementioned beam did not allow him to “enjoy the views of Lake Starnberg in Bavaria,” according to what was reported. German newspaper “Bild”, Friday.
However, this is not the only charge brought against him by the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office, as he is accused of insulting the authorities when they were preparing to revoke his driving license after he was seen using the phone while driving his car, as well as fleeing after not paying for the charging of his electric car.
Earlier, Lehmann was fined €40,000 in 2016 for aiding and abetting an accident escape, and another €170,000 in 2017 for tax evasion.
