The former spokesperson for Anies-Sandi during the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election, Anggawira, said that the Governor’s Team for the Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) and BUMD era Anies Baswedan filled with insiders or ordals. Geisz Khalifa back to spray Anggawira.
Anggawira in his statement mentioned the name of Geisz Chalifa, a close person to Anies, who once served as Commissioner of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Tbk (PPJA). Then, Anggawira also mentioned the name of Thomas Lembong, who also served as President Commissioner of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.
Geisz assessed that Anggawira did not understand Anies’ statement regarding the ordal. He said that it was Anggawira who often used ordal in running his business.
“Anggawira, a business player in BUMN, is too stupid to understand Anies Baswedan’s statement. He does business in BUMN, of course he is used to using insiders. That’s why he protested Anies’ statement,” said Geisz to reporters, Monday (18/12/ 2023).
Geisz said that while under the DKI Provincial Government he helped Anies to resolve the ordal phenomenon. He said that the appointment of DKI Provincial Government officials, including TGUPP and BUMD, had gone through an assessment process.
“However, not immediately but through an assessment process, with the panel members being Prof. Irham Dilmi, Prof. Zaki Baridwan, DR Maruli Gultom, and former KPK Adnan Pandu Praja. If they are not competent (did not pass the selection committee) they will definitely not be passed,” said Geisz .
“So, if that t*l*l is named Anggawira, he is used to using Ordal for his business. Don’t compare it to us. My business is the property business, not like Anggawira, who needs Ordal to do business. Tell him to read it when talking about Geisz Chalifah,” added the spokesperson for the AMIN National Team.
Previously, Anggawira admitted that he understood and saw that what Anies said in the first presidential debate regarding the Ordal was not appropriate. He brought up that Anies also appointed people close to him as TGUPP members when he was Governor of DKI Jakarta.
“In fact, it’s not just at TGUPP because in determining the commissioners at BUMD (Regional-Owned Enterprises) there are insiders and team members who come in,” explained Anggawira in his statement, Saturday (16/12).
“When Mas Anies was governor, there were also people close to him who held ‘insider’ positions such as the Commissioner of LRT Jakarta, BUMD PT Jakpro (Jakarta Propertindo), those were people close to Mas Anies, especially those at TGUPP, people in all’,” said the General Chair of the Advanced Indonesia National Young Entrepreneur Volunteers (Repnas).
Anggawira considers that Anies’ statement about ‘ordal’ backfired because what Anies said in the debate was considered to have been done by Anies when he served as Governor of DKI.
“I saw it backfire. This ‘insider’ is like splashing his own face,” Anggawira stressed.
