Rachel Drumm, the sister-in-law of former Anglo Irish Bank CEO David Drumm, has been given a six-month stay on an order to vacate her Skerries home in Co Dublin. The possession order was sought on behalf of Mars Capital Ireland, which now owns the mortgage on the property. However, Ms Drumm revealed that David Drumm had also been named on the mortgage, which was originally issued to EBS. She has only recently discovered the correspondence between her late husband, David Drumm, and the mortgage provider. Ms Drumm, who has four children, including one under 18, has been making payments to a joint account, but was locked out by her late husband. The total arrears are almost €1 million. The stay was granted to give Ms Drumm time to investigate how David Drumm’s bankruptcy affects his standing on the mortgage.’,
