George Chrunik, former artistic director of the dance company: “(What is impressive) is the skill of the dancers. Their skills are exceptional. Like the dance itself, their detail, the dress of the dance, is the focus of our attention. She said, (the dancers’) precision, skills, dress, and overall performance representation was excellent.

Mr George Chrunik has been involved in the dance industry for over 40 years. He has been a dancer, coach and choreographer, and a member of the Arts Council. He was once artistic director of the Alberta Ukrainian Dance Company (Shumka) and personally led the group to perform in Ukraine. Currently, he is often invited to join various dance groups. He praised Shen Yun’s amazing performance with a professional eye.
George Chrunik: “While I’m watching, I’ll think and think, but this show is amazing. I always get something from it, oh they do this, they dance so. This show is really amazing and amazing.”
Mrs. Kronik, who is also a dancer, has great respect for Shen Yun’s ability to express culture through the art of dance.
Maria Chrunik: “The essence of ‘Shen Yun’ is very beautiful, because art is shown in every aspect and there is a divine aspect in every field. What I admire most is the use of high art – platform to express culture as a whole, and we must love each other.
They said that current public opinion in today’s society ignores religious issues and even strongly criticizes them. However, Shen Yun artists are fearless and have the courage to boldly express their beliefs through art, which they consider timeless.
George Chrunik: “What is very contagious is that they do not hide their spiritual beliefs. (In today’s society) spiritual beliefs are heavily criticized. As Christians, we are constantly criticized, but Shen Yun artists do not shy away from this. the powerful pull of culture.
Maria Chrunik: “They were so bold and beautiful.”
George Chrunik: “They spoke out and it was amazing. They were completely fearless and they openly admitted their beliefs and they were proud of it. I think that’s how it should be. .People can bash me, but That’s not how it should be.
They thanked Shen Yun’s artistic director for introducing amazing artistic creativity and said they would come to see Shen Yun again next year.
George Chrunik: “I really like your (Shen Yun Artistic Director) inspiration and artistic creativity. I just read the artistic director’s introduction. The music and the choreography are all amazing. There are several choreographers there’s also something that’s really amazing, really amazing.”
George Chrunik: “I’d love to work with Shen Yun. Like being part of a show. If there’s an opportunity to work together, fly over us for free, give us a weekend, and we’ll go at once.’ very good, great.
Maria Chrunik: “Congratulations, it’s really amazing!”
George Chrunik: “I can’t believe that Shen Yun has eight groups. There are so many dancers, it’s really cool.
