Former AKP deputy became rector of Ankara University

According to the Appointment Decision published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Erdoğan, new rectors were appointed to 16 universities. Necdet Ünüvar, former AKP Adana Deputy and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, became the new rector of Ankara University.

The appointed rectors are as follows:

Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tümay, Rector of Akdeniz University Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan, Rector of Ankara University Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünavar, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Rector of Çukurova University Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel, Dicle University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakoç, Fırat University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Rector of İnönü University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay, Istanbul Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu.
