Khatera Hashmi, a former female police officer, admitted to being tortured by Taliban members last year.
Hashmi reveals he was shot several times, even having his right eye damaged by them.

Hashmi says the torture happened when they kidnapped him.
Moreover, the torture occurred when Hashmi was still pregnant.
“For the Taliban, a woman’s biggest sin is if she leaves her house to work,” she told India Today.
“What happened to me happened to other women too. However, they could not speak, because they were afraid,” Hashmi added.
Hashmi, who is currently in India, said he still trembles and cries when he remembers what happened to him in Afghanistan.
