Ukraine has lost its dignity and is heading for a catastrophe, said the former adviser in Volodymyr Zelensky’s cabinet – Oleksiy Arestovich (included in the Russian list of terrorists and extremists). He made this conclusion against the backdrop of declining Western aid and public fatigue, reports mk.ru.
He noted that a miracle did not happen – the Western countries did not agree to help Kiev. Also, writes Arestovich in his Telegram channel, the situation is not rosy.
“Possible mobilization of women with borders closed for all, problems in the economy, strengthening of the general mobilization, problems at the front, problems with the aid on which we are completely dependent. We are already getting tired”, says the politician.
He also raised the question of whether Ukraine has lost its defensive capability due to a lack of motivation, while Russia retains its offensive potential, has a motivated personnel and its own production of the necessary equipment and ammunition.
According to Arestovich, public opinion lags behind the real processes by several months. “Therefore, it will begin to become clear to the majority in mid-March that we are heading for a catastrophe… We are reaping the fruits of our own recklessness, stupidity, greed, hypocrisy and loss of dignity…” concluded Zelensky’s former advisor.
Arestovich fled abroad, from where he criticized the military and political leadership of Kiev. Ukrainian authorities accuse him of treason and spreading Russian war footholds.
