MEXICO CITY.
Oscar Armando “P”, former Administrative Director of the Heroic Fire Department of Mexico City, was arrested.
The capture was made by elements of the Investigation Police of the Attorney General’s Office of the capital, in the colony September 16, of the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office.
On the accused there was an arrest warrant for the crime of improper use of powers and powers committed by public servants.
According to the authorities, during his tenure, Peña Avendaño was accused of diverting resources within the Fire Department.
The person in charge was transferred to the North Men’s Preventive Prison and placed at the disposal of a Control Judge and in the next hours his legal situation will be defined.
