The star of the 90s, Professor Lebedinsky (Alexey Lebedinsky), who fled Russia for political reasons in 2014, is forced to beg on social networks.
“Sorry for writing about this, but there is nothing shameful here. Last month they sent me just enough money to pay my electricity and internet bills. And I had to ask again,” writes the musician.
He remembered how he used to be wealthy and helped everyone he could, “giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars.” Now I myself find myself in a difficult life situation – “at the end of every month I will remind you that I somehow need to live out this… life.”
The professor emphasized that he lives a modest life, “does not go to restaurants and cafes, and does not even make his own teeth, which have long been falling apart.”
“I can go under the bridge to the homeless,” the once popular artist noted, accompanying the post with an obscene synonym for the expression “I don’t care.”
“I have long wanted to start telling you what condition I and other people with this disease are in. Many call it major depressive disorder or existential depression,” said the musician.
The popularity of Professor Lebedinsky was brought to him by the song “I will kill you, boatman.” In the 90s, in the wake of the popularity of this song, Lebedinsky toured the whole country. After escaping from Russia in 2014, he periodically returned to the Russian Federation, but after the start of a special military operation, he permanently lives in Miami.
