As delays in obtaining appointments to make or renew identity documents explode, a new, completely free website helps to find an appointment in the city hall more easily.
The Web site Vitemonpasseport.fr allows you to identify in one click the first appointments available to renew your passport or identity card within a radius of 100 km around your home. Lists all the municipalities equipped with a biometric station and the time slots for submitting applications. A principle that is somewhat reminiscent of that of “take my dose quickly”, the site launched a year ago to more easily find appointments for the anti-Covid vaccination.
But, hey, don’t expect miracles… Quickly my passport has no effect on city hall congestion and it takes an average of about 100 days to get an ID!
