But what do you have to imagine under a forest of numbers? – Under the current circumstances, unfortunately without the participation of children or school classes, the opening of the “Gramschatzer Numbers Forest” as a new attraction of the Gramschatzer Wald forest experience center by State Secretary Anna Stolz (center) took place. Photo: Herbert Ehehalt The forest adventure center (WEZ) Gramschatzer Wald with the new number forest opened by Bavaria’s state secretary Anna Stolz (FW, Arnstein) as part of the German Forest Days is one more attraction. Under the motto “Together! For the forest”, the Arnstein Forestry Company then invited to a two-hour forest walk in the Gramschatzer Forest on the topic of Climate Forest Nature Conservation. It has long been known that the forest is important for people, for biodiversity and our climate. In addition to being a supplier of the renewable raw material wood, it is also a place of work, nature conservation and recreation. However, the forest is currently suffering from the consequences of climate change like never before. Therefore, the contributions with numerous regional events to the German Forest Days 2020 were aimed in particular at this context. The Gramschatzer Wald forest experience center and the Arnstein forest operation of the Bavarian State Forests were also involved. “The numbers forest is another great way to get to know and experience the forest and to enable interdisciplinary learning.” Anna Stolz (FW), State Secretary– Information and in particular the dialogue about the “forest under climatic stress” as well as the measures to protect the forests were the focus of a forest walk. The participants were confronted with the clearly recognizable climatic changes. For the stable forest of the future, the representatives of the authorities are convinced that everyone who cares about the forest is jointly responsible. For this reason, this year’s motto “Together! For the forest” stood for joint action in order to secure the forest and its services for the future. A varied combination of forest, dummies of wild animals, fairy tales and figures can be found in the “Gramschatzer Numbers Forest”, the new attraction of the Gramschatzer Wald forest experience center. The idea behind it: In an unusual symbiosis, the 700-meter long circular path, which is laid out over seven stations, connects the forest as a living space with the language of mathematics. State Secretary Anna Stolz sees it as “another great offer of the WEZ to get to know and experience the forest and to enable interdisciplinary learning.” Here, environmental protection can not only be experienced in the classroom, but directly in nature, emphasized Stolz. Elaborated didactically The “Gramschatzer Numbers Forest” is a project of the Gramschatzer Wald forest adventure center. The concept for this was developed by the professor for didactics of mathematics, Gerhard Prei. According to the chairman of the sponsoring association, Burkard Losert, the total cost was around 85,000 euros. The implementation by the team of the forest experience center was made possible by the LAG Wein Wald Wasser, donations and membership fees, the EU funding program LEADER with financial support from the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forests and the European Agricultural Fund for the development of rural areas. The head of the Department for Food, Agriculture and Forests (AELF) Wrzburg, Harald Blankart, was extremely pleased with the expansion of the forest experience center. The chairman of the sponsoring association, Burkard Losert, expressed his regret that no children or even school classes could be present at the opening of the “Gramschatzer Numbers Forest” due to the current special circumstances caused by the corona pandemic. – Gramschatz Herbert Ehehalt Anna pride Biodiversity Burkard Losert Forestry operations and forestry companies Sponsoring associations Gramschatz Sorrow Forest Harald Blankart Agriculture mathematics natural reserve environmental Protection Forest and wooded areas – – – Related posts:BBB leader Van der Plas not at farmers' protest because of serious threats | InteriorSufficient Evidence, Three Police Shooters of the FPI Laskar as Suspects"Two injured in car accident at Fåberg church, one car flipped over"After chat: ORF editorial board calls for 'credible restart' In the UK, non-compliance with self-isolation could result in a fine of up to £ 10,000 Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-Department for Free HPR Vaccination and Sterilization Leave a Comment Cancel replyCommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
