The students fled from their student housing on foot along the main road while their library burned down, AFP journalists from the place report.

Helicopters
The wind scattered the flames over the dry terrain of the mountain slope near the University of Cape Town (UCT). Several buildings on the university’s campus have caught fire, and a historic windmill has been taken by the flames, photos from the site show.
Authorities are asking other residents and visitors to leave the area immediately, reports BBC.
Over a hundred firefighters and other emergency personnel have been dispatched to the campus and to Table Mountain National Park. Four helicopters are participating in the extinguishing work.
