After unofficially learning of an alleged bribe, this morning, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the Anti-Corruption Police went to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the province of San Antonio de Putina, where they intervened in flagrante delicto the medical examiner identified as Adolfo Fernández, 39 years old, who had allegedly made an illegal collection.
According to initial investigations, the coroner allegedly charged the family members a thousand soles to perform the legal autopsy and “speed up” the procedures for one of the four corpses of the miners. which were found in a vacant lot in the town of La Rinconada, days ago.
Following their intervention, the police personnel of the Anti-Corruption Directorate (DIRCOCOR) ordered their immediate transfer to the city of Puno, to continue with the investigations in accordance with the law. It should be noted that the alleged perpetrator arrived in the regional capital at around 5 p.m., where he remains in custody, according to official information obtained at the time of writing this article.
Meanwhile, it was learned that the bodies were already delivered to their relatives, who were identified as Samuel Chino Barreto (40), Eduardo Quisana Salazar (43), Dion Way Sanchez Moya (26) and Teófilo Yucra Moya, so that they could be transferred to their places of origin, (02) to the district of Patambuco in the province of Sandia, (01) to the district of Ayaviri in the province of Melgar and (01) to the region of Cusco, for their Christian burial.
