Foreigners went crazy for these cities. They buy properties en masse – 2024-05-06 16:52:29

Real estate purchases by foreigners in the country’s resorts and large cities such as Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas are increasing, brokers said. At the resorts, the most transactions were made by foreigners in Bansko and Sunny Beach. But in all mountain and sea resorts, the buyers are mostly Bulgarians.

In the big cities, foreigners are most often looking for luxury apartments at prices above 200,000 euro. B resorts buy mostly one- and two-room apartments at prices between 30,000 and 70,000 euros. Some of the deals were concluded with Russians.

Property prices in Bulgarian sea and mountain resorts have reached record levels for the last 10-15 years. Among the mountain resorts, the properties in Borovets are the most expensive, where the average square meter costs 850 euros. Of the seaside resorts, the most expensive is in Sozopol and the other resorts south of Burgas. The apartments in Sunny Beach and Bansko are of similar prices, and the cheapest are the properties in Pamporovo and some resorts on the Northern Black Sea coast.

In the resorts north of Varna, there is a very wide variety in prices, as the complexes differ significantly in terms of quality and scale. In the north of Varna, they buy properties both at prices between 500 euros and 600 euros per square meter, and at levels between 800 euros and 1,000 euros per square meter.
