KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed up 0.64% or up 35.06 points to the level of 5,529,940 on Tuesday (17/11) trading. During trading, JCI moved in the green zone from the lowest level 5,515,519 to the highest level 5,562,537.

Quoting RTI data, seven out of 10 sectors rose. The sectors that strengthened the most included the infrastructure sector, which rose 3.06%, the consumer goods sector rose 1.74% and the manufacturing sector rose 0.73%.

Meanwhile, the three sectors that weakened were the miscellaneous industry sector which fell 1.46%, the plantation sector was cut by 0.80% and the trade sector fell 0.43%.

The total trading volume on the IDX reaches 16.5 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 14.3 trillion. A total of 252 stocks rose, 187 stocks fell and 178 shares flat.

Foreigners posted net buy amounting to IDR 810.66 billion in all markets. However, a number of these shares were also sold by foreigners.

Foreigners recorded the most net sell in shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 65.9 billion. BBRI’s shares closed flat at Rp 3,960 per share. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 248 million with a transaction value of IDR 988.7 billion.

Foreigners also sell shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) IDR 51.5 billion. However, BBNI shares managed to strengthen at the close of trading, up 1.32% to Rp 5,750 per share. The total trading volume of BBNI’s shares reached 63.4 million with a transaction value of IDR 363.8 billion.

PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) also released by foreigners Rp. 40.2 billion. EXCL’s shares fell 0.86% to Rp 2,300 per share. The total trading volume of EXCL shares reached 51.7 million with a transaction value of Rp 120 billion.
