KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed corrected in trading earlier this week. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI fell 7.04 points or 0.10% to 7,203,794 on Monday (11/4).

JCI was depressed by a decline in seven sectors from a total of 11 sectors on the IDX. The sector that fell the most was the raw goods sector at 3.11%. The energy sector fell 1.95%. The infrastructure sector was cut by 1.55%. The financial sector slumped 1.39%. The property and real estate sector fell 1.05%. The primary consumer goods sector fell 0.96%, while the non-primary consumer goods sector fell 0.54%.

Meanwhile, the sector that strengthened was the transportation sector, which rose 5.51%. The technology sector rose 0.97%. The industrial sector was 0.31% and the health sector rose 0.17%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 46.18 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 21.59 trillion. There were 412 stocks that fell, 154 stocks that rose and 128 stocks that were stagnant.

Although the JCI weakened, foreign investors noted that net buy of Rp 1.11 trillion in all markets.

Foreign notes net buy largest share in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) amounting to Rp 186.8 billion. BBRI shares closed down 0.87% to Rp 4,570 per share. The total trading volume of BBRI shares reached 169.9 million with a transaction value of Rp 740.1 billion.

Shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) is also widely collected by foreigners amounting to Rp 184.0 billion. TLKM shares edged up 0.22% to Rp 4,590 per share. The total trading volume of TLKM shares reached 111.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 510.2 billion.

Then foreigners also took a lot of shares in PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) of Rp. 156.1 billion. ASII shares fell 2.14% to Rp 6,850 per share. The total trading volume of ASII’s shares reached 52.7 million with a transaction value of Rp 360.2 billion.
