KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) resumed strengthening at the close of trading weekend, Friday (27/11). JCI rose 0.41% or rose 23,419 points to a level of 5,783,335 at the close of trading.

JCI was opened in the green zone even though it had entered the red zone but reversed direction and remained in the green zone until trading ended.

Quoting RTI data, seven out of 10 sectors are green. The plantation sector strengthened the highest by 4.56%, followed by the construction sector 2.68% and the mining sector 2.47%. The trade sector also increased by 1%, then the consumer goods sector increased by 0.76%.

Meanwhile, the sectors that ended in the red zone were the miscellaneous industry sector which was depressed by 1.16%, the financial sector fell 0.38% and the basic industrial sector was cut by 0.37%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 32.8 billion with a transaction value of IDR 16.6 trillion. A total of 28 = 75 stocks rose, 206 fell and 147 were stagnant. In the midst of an increase in the JCI, foreigners booked net sell IDR 1 trillion in all markets.

Most foreign investors sold shares of PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME) IDR 580.9 billion. SAME’s shares also fell 6.48% to the level of Rp 202 per share. The total trading volume of SAME’s shares reached 4.37 billion with a transaction value of IDR 609.1 billion.

Foreigners also released shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 193.2 billion. BBCA’s shares fell 1.47% to Rp 31,925 per share. BBCA’s total share trading volume reached 30.9 million with a transaction value of IDR 994.7 billion.

Foreigners also sell shares of PT Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk (HOUSE) IDR 150 billion. CASA shares were stagnant at the level of Rp 390 per share. The total trading volume of CASA shares reached 775 million with a transaction value of IDR 300.7 billion.
