Al-Marsad Newspaper: Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed that burning copies of the Holy Qur’an is a provocative act that cannot be accepted under any justification, as it is a violation of international references and documents calling for harmony and peace.
He continued during the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the recurrence of incidents of burning the Qur’an that they directly contradict international efforts seeking to spread the values of tolerance, moderation and rejection of extremism, and undermine the principles of mutual respect necessary for relations between peoples and countries.
