Foreign Minister – Ignazios Cassis had himself vaccinated against Covid-19

Federal Councilor Ignazio Cassis was on a trip to Africa from 7th to 13th February. Previously, the Swiss Foreign Minister had himself vaccinated against Covid-19, like “Time” reported. He will soon receive the second vaccination, said Cassis in an interview with the Westschweizer Zeitung.

The entire Federal Council has decided that the state government can be vaccinated against Corona. The first federal councilors received the vaccination in mid-January. That was not well received everywhere, because in the canton of Bern only people over 75 years of age receive the vaccine. No member of the Federal Council fulfills this condition.
