The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Faría, asked the government of Canada on Monday to “save” its “interfering” views on the negotiation process with the opposition, suspended since October last year, after the country the North American had urged President Nicolás Maduro to “immediately” resume dialogue in Mexico.
“It would be very good for the Canadian government to take care of its internal affairs and save itself from its interfering and inappropriate views on dialogue in Venezuela,” the foreign minister wrote on his Twitter account.
He also said that the differences that exist in the country will be resolved among Venezuelans, “without the intrigues of those who have always bet on our failure,” he said.
Canada said on Monday that it “encourages” Maduro to “immediately” resume negotiations in Mexico with the opposition.

For this reason, Canada supports a return to the stalled negotiation process organized by Mexico and facilitated by Norway. Canada encourages Maduro’s delegation to resume these negotiations immediately, “Foreign Ministry spokesman Jason Kung told EFE.
