Foreign media “Buttercup, inlaid for a film that is not a foreign language film award”

Foreign media evaluated that’Buttercup’ was not a foreign language film award, but a work inlaid.

The Associated Press said that the Hollywood Foreign Journalists Association, which is in charge of the Golden Globe, “was criticized for disqualifying Minari’s work award because of a non-English speaking ambassador,” and selected Minari as one of the de facto’winners’ that lit up this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

The dpa news agency also pointed out that “Minari was the only American film to have won the Foreign Language Film Awards” and evaluated “Minari is an essentially American story centered on Korean Americans.”
