Foreign Media Also Highlights the Resignation of the Indonesian Team from All England

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV The chaos in the implementation of Yonex All England 2021, which forced the Indonesian team to resign, has also become the spotlight of several foreign media.

The Associated Press (AP) writes about Turkish player Neslihan Yigit, who won the first-round match on Wednesday (17/3/2021), also ended up undergoing a 10-day quarantine and was withdrawn from participation in All England. Yigit ended up having the same fate as the Indonesian team.

Meanwhile, the British media, the BBC, wrote that the Badminton World Federation (BWF) had tried so that the Indonesian team could get an exception and still be able to compete in All England. However, UK government legislation regarding periods of self-isolation is non-negotiable.
