Foreign investors sell out these shares when the JCI is down, Friday (16/10)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed down 0.03% at 5,103,414 levels in Friday trading. During trading, JCI was mostly in the red zone from the lowest level of 5,076,589 and the highest level of 5,115,558.

Quoting data RTI, three sectors reddish and 7 sectors green. The sector that flushed was the financial sector which fell 0.67%, the trade sector fell 0.46% and the infrastructure sector fell 0.27%.

Meanwhile, sectors that strengthened included the miscellaneous industry sector gaining 2.89%, the mining sector strengthening 0.75% and the manufacturing sector strengthening 0.68%.

The total trading volume on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reached 10.43 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp.7.76 trillion. Foreign investors posted net sell in all markets Rp. 593.87 billion.

Investors recorded the most net sell of shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 137 billion. TLKM shares closed down 1.08% to Rp 2,750 per share. The total trading volume of TLKM’s shares reached 144 million with a transaction value of IDR 395.2 billion.

Foreigners also released shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 125.9 billion. BBCA’s shares closed down 0.43% to Rp 28,800 per share. BBCA’s total share trading volume reached 31.8 million with a transaction value of IDR 917.8 billion.

Shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) also did not escape the foreign net sell of Rp. 118.9 billion. BBRI shares fell 1.81% to the level of Rp 3,250 per share. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 142.6 billion with a transaction value of IDR 465.8 billion.
