Malappuram: Those who came to watch the game chased and beat the foreign player during the football match. Ivory Coast star Hasan Jr. was attacked during the Arekot Fives match. The injured actor lodged a complaint with Malappuram SP. The foreign star approached the police with the footage of the incident.

Hasan Jr’s complaint is that he was racially abused and those who came to watch the game threw stones at him. The incident took place on 10th of this month during a fives football match held in Chemrakatur, Areekode. The actor was detained saying that Hasan Jr. abused the audience.
The star who tried to run away was beaten up by people in many parts of the field. The complaint was handed over to the District Police Chief Arikot SHO.
