Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) continued its good performance this week, even setting a new record (all time high/ATH) in the last five weeks.
On Wednesday’s trading (13/4/2022), JCI managed to close the trade with the highest level in history at 7,262.77.
According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), during the trading period 11-14 April 2022 or throughout this week, the JCI moved up 0.34% on an average basis. point-to-point. JCI also recorded strengthening for five consecutive weeks.
From the average daily transaction volume, the IDX recorded an increase of 39.66 percent to 31.003 billion shares, compared to last week’s 22.199 billion shares.
An increase of 27.28% occurred in the average daily transaction value of the stock exchange, to Rp 17.624 trillion from Rp 13.847 trillion last week.
Then, the average daily frequency of the Exchange also increased by 20.15% to 1,625,136 transactions, from the previous 1,352,621 transactions last week.
Meanwhile, the stock market capitalization increased by 3.97% and managed to record a new record which reached Rp. 9,400 trillion or to be exact, Rp. 9,405.319 trillion from the previous Rp. 9,046.305 trillion last week.
At the Asian level, the JCI’s performance is also standout. by year-to-date, JCI ranks first in ASEAN which shot 9.94%. Followed by the Straits Times (Singapore) grew by 6.83%.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite (China) index fell 11.38%, Hang Seng (Hong Kong) fell 8.03%, and the NIKKEI 225 (Japan) fell 5.63%.
This week, there were two listings of initial shares and one corporate bond on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
On Monday (11/4/2022) PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) listed its shares on the Main Board as the 15th listed company in 2022 and the 781st on the IDX. GOTO is engaged in the technology sector with Software & IT Services sub-sector. The GOTO industry and sub-industry are Online Applications and Services.
Furthermore, last Tuesday, PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) listed its shares on the Main Board as the 16th listed company in 2022 and the 782nd on the IDX.
Meanwhile, from the corporate bond market, the Sustainable Bond IV WOM Finance Phase II 2022 issued by PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF) was officially listed on the IDX last Monday, with a nominal value of Rp 800 billion.
