Foreign drivers with valid license allowed in Oman for up to three months

Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that all foreign visitors and tourists are allowed to drive in Oman with a valid license issued by their country.

This was reported by the local newspaper quoting the Royal Oman Police. Officials at the Royal Oman Police said any visitor can drive with a foreign license for up to three months from the date of entry into the Sultanate.

People from various fields say that the decision will benefit the tourism sector in the country.
