/ world today news/ The majority of foreign-funded companies operating in China are satisfied with the favorable business environment in the country and confident in the Chinese market. This is according to the results of a recent survey conducted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CITPC).
The business environment in terms of market access, tax conditions, dispute settlement and promotion of market competition in China is widely welcomed by foreign companies operating in the country. Nearly 90 percent of the foreign-funded enterprises surveyed were satisfied with the aforementioned business environment, said Sun Xiao, an official of KSNMT.
Foreign companies are optimistic about their development in China, with over 80 percent of respondents expecting their return on investment to remain flat or increase in 2023. The main factors driving investment by such firms include the sheer size of the market, preferential policies and the integrity of industrial chains and supply chains.
