New heat and code yellow is in effect. On Wednesday, warnings for high temperatures were announced in eight regions of Eastern Bulgaria. Exceptions are the districts of Dobrich, Varna and Burgas.
During the night in many places in Central and Southern Bulgaria, there will be short-term rain showers. Over the western half of the country in places they will be accompanied by thunder.
There will be hail conditions. In Eastern Bulgaria, a weak to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast.
The maximum temperatures will be from 27-29 degrees in the western regions to 35-37 degrees in Central and Eastern Bulgaria.
It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea. Maximum temperatures will be 29-32 degrees. The temperature of the sea water will be around 28 degrees. The excitement of the sea will be 1-2 points.
Over the mountains there will be brief showers with thunderstorms. In places in the Central Stara Planina and the Western Rhodopes, they will be intense and significant in quantity.
The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be about 23 degrees, and at 2000 meters – about 15 degrees.
In the coming days until the end of this and the beginning of next week, sunny weather will prevail, with cumulus clouds in the afternoon hours.
In the mountainous regions, there will be short-term rainfall accompanied by thunder. In the flat part of the country, the probability of precipitation is lower, but isolated precipitation is still not excluded.
Maximum temperatures on most days and in most places will be between 30 and 35 degrees. It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast, there will be more significant temporary increases in cloudiness during the weekends.
