He stated that the onslaught of Cyclone Sarah will intensify on the night of 23 November.
“Especially in the morning rush hour, snowfalls will intensify, visibility will deteriorate and become less than 1 km, drifts on the roads, which will lead to congestion, as well as disruptions in air traffic,” added the forecaster.
Tishkovets noted that up to 8-10 mm of precipitation is forecasted, which is 15-20% of the monthly norm.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, said that the snow cover in the Moscow region on November 21 can reach a height of 8cm.
