Thus, the average air temperature in September will be 1–2 degrees above average long-term values. Most days will be warm and quite comfortable.
According to the weather forecast, the meteorological summer will last for one and a half – two weeks. This is when the average daily air temperature is +15°C and above. This period just coincides with the young Indian summer.
As for precipitation, it will fall within the climatic norm.
“We are waiting for 11 to 15 days with precipitation and 3 to 8 days with fog,” Dmitry Ryabov warned.
Thunderstorm activity will begin to wane, with only a couple of thundery days expected in September.
Nevertheless, nature takes its toll, and already in the last days of the month, the first frosts are expected in the northeast.
“Morning and evening coolness is becoming more and more noticeable,” the forecaster concluded.
