Given the rise in prices and the slight decrease in the Euribor -it remains above 4%-, RNE mornings makes a forecast of where these values can be directed together with Patricia Suárez, president of Asufin: “It is expected that from January the rates will begin to drop, the reality is that this does not alleviate much, because most of the people who are reviewing their mortgage now are raising it” and predicts that there will be no relief until next year: “the good thing is that we do see the end of the tunnel, we do see a moderation of the guys. (…) It is expected that -these levels- will still be maintained for a few months, but that from 2024 they will begin to drop.”
Regarding the price of food, the president of Asufin comments that the world situation is “really dramatic”, it began in Ukraine and is linked to what is currently happening in South Africa: “It also has to do with a war not only of raw materials , but oil”. In addition, Suárez gives advice to overcome the slope of September: “Review expenses and income, redo those budgets”.
