The cyclonic vortex that arrived in Italy in the final part of this second weekend of January, will already move its motor center from the central-southern regions towards the Ionian area from Monday 10th, thus maintaining conditions weather forecast still very capricious on the southern regions and on the central Adriatic sector, where thunderstorms will still be possible, especially on Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata and Calabria with snowfalls on inland areas starting from 400 meters above sea level. Between afternoon and evening there will be rains also on Campania, Calabria and Sicily accompanied by strong gusts of Tramontana which they will exacerbate the sensation of cold even more.
Due to the incoming wind and cold, the snow will return to be seen in these areas with flakes up to around 500/700 meters.
Instead, things will go better in the North and in the Tyrrhenian areas of the Center where a progressive one increased pressure it will favor the return to more stable conditions albeit in a very cold context at times icy at night.
Later, after a Tuesday 11 still uncertain for the South with also some residual unstable notes on the central Adriatic sector, from Wednesday 12 here comes thesurprise announced. The maximum pressure will tend to be located between the Iberian Peninsula, the British Isles and France during the week, guaranteeing greater atmospheric stability and gradually recovering temperatures, especially during the day.
And in Italy? What will happen? Our country will find itself a little on the edge or rather on the border line. A good part of the Center-North and Sardinia, in fact, will benefit from the anticyclonic shield with more sunny spaces, albeit with temperature always quite cold during the night.
Currents from the north and north / east descending from north-eastern Europe will continue to flow into the Adriatic regions and to the south where there will also be occasional showers, with snowfalls up to hilly altitudes.
