Ford Trucks Achieves High Sales Results in Latvia and Plans for Future Growth

The sales volume of Ford Trucks Latvia in 2022 reached 13% of the market share in the segment of trucks over 16 tons, which is twice as much as the year before. The manufacturer’s planned delivery forecast for the first half of 2023 is more than 100 units, which, as in the corresponding period of 2022, will provide Ford Trucks stable sales results in Latvia with a creator over 10% of the total market volume.

We are pleased that we are also able to be competitive in Latvia and achieve high sales results by offering customers efficient freight transport solutions. Our goal is to provide quality service to new customers in cooperation with our partners , offering a wide range of products and services, especially the internationally awarded tractor F-MAX. An important step in further growth is the conclusion of a dealership agreement with car service AK12 in Cēsis, by the end of the year there is a plan to attract another partner in Latvia,” says Ingvars Konsts, Ford Trucks Head of the Latvian importer’s structural unit.

It also makes a significant contribution to achieving the goal of selling 50% zero-emission vehicles in Europe by 2030. Ford Trucks electric trucks will be on the road by 2024.

From April 28 to April 30, the exhibition Auto 2023 will take place in the exhibition center BT1, where the visitors will have the opportunity to see one of the newest offers of tractors on the Latvian market – “Ford F-MAX”, which is equipped with Ford Ecotorq 500 ZS and 2500 Nm powerful engine, safe driving assistants and one of the best remote management tools – ConnecTruck. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to familiarize themselves with the already available equipment, upcoming plans and technical solutions from “Ford Trucks”.
