Gone are the days when the Ford Puma was a small coupe, not even a crossover with the same name, but it does not lose its sporty direction. At least in the new ST variant.

You will recognize it from the outside not only thanks to the special shade of Mean Green paint, the strong version will also be revealed by different bumpers, a double exhaust tailpipe and 19-inch wheels. Inside you will find Recaro sports seats, a sports steering wheel and a different gear lever.

The front wheels are driven by a sixteen-speed petrol turbocharger through a six-speed manual transmission. The three-cylinder has an output of 147 kW, 200 hp. The torque reaches 320 Nm. From zero to 100 km / h it takes 6.7 seconds, the maximum speed is 220 km / h.

The Quaife self-locking differential can also be ordered as part of the Performance set. The chassis is 50 percent stiffer than in the standard variant, it has a special suspension with Hitachi shock absorbers. The steering has a 25 percent faster transmission, the engineers also worked on the brake system with 325mm discs at the front and 271mm at the rear.
