Ford management has announced the cancellation and postponement of several days of production shutdown scheduled for the month of December at the Engine Operations plant, as part of the Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE) in force at the Almussafes plant (Valencia ).
Ford’s ERTE Joint Monitoring Committee met this Thursday at 15:30 where management set out the need to change the file schedule, once again, to adjust production in the face of instability in semiconductor supply of private components, as reported by the UGT.
The new changes concern, on the one hand, Motor Assembly, where the ERTE is transferred from 19 and 20 December to 21 and 22 December. On the other hand, the ERTE which was scheduled for mechanization on 17, 18, 22 and 23 December was cancelled.
In Vehicle Operations, no changes have been established since December 7th.
